Little "Fino". A free amigurumi Christmas gnome pattern

Hi!. How are you?.
Some time ago I published my free Spanish patterns of "The Tomtez family" (La familia Tomtez).
They are a family of "Tomte" (Scandinavian gnomes), and they come from the North of Europe. If you want to read their mini-story about how I met them, you can find it HERE.  I'm sorry, but it's written in Spanish, and I don't speak English well enough to translate it. But you can use one translator on line... I hope it'll be understandable.

I know that you've liked them, and some of you has asked me for the English patterns.
My English isn't too good, but I'm going to try to translate the pattern of "Fino", the littlest of the nice "Tomtez Family". If you have any questions or doubts, or if you find any error in the translation, please feel free to leave a message and I'll try to answer you as soon as I can.
I'm going to do some little changes respect of the original Spanish pattern (you can find it HERE), but the final result is going to be quite similar.

If you make this gnome, I would like to see some pictures of your work. Remember that there is a board on my Pinterest where I usually publish pictures of your versions. You can send me a mail or share your work on Instagram. Please, tag me on Instagram as @lacalledelaabuela.
But, please, before use any of my patterns, read what I've wrote at PERMISOS.
                                                           ---- ---- ----
That's right!. Here you are my free pattern of "Little Fino".

"Litlle FINO"

You'll need:
  • Yarn (cotton, acrylic, wool...) in colour: A (for skin); B (grey) for the body and the arms; C (red) for the hat, D (white) for the embroidery of the hat... or the colours you'll prefer.
  • Crochet hook in accordance with the yarn you'll use. I usually prefer to use a smaller thickness crochet than indicated by the thread label.
  • Stitch marker.
  • Fiberfill for stuffing.
  • A pair of 8 or 10 mm safety eyes (optional). It you prefer, you can embroider the eyes.
  • Yarn needle.
  • A piece of hard plastic.

Abbreviations
  • ch: chain
  • mr: magic ring
  • sc: single crochet
  • sl st: slip stitch
  • st: stitch
  • rep: repeat
  • inc: increase (make two single crochet in the same stitch)
  • dec: decrease (sc2tog)
  • rnd: round
  • BLO: back loops only

About the pattern
In this pattern, I've worked in spiral (continuous rounds).
Head and body,  are made in one piece. The arms and the nose are made separately and sewn afterwards.

The thread, wool, acrylic, cotton yarn ... is at your choice, adapting the hook to the thickness and to your way to weave (looser or tighter). Remember that with different thread and hook, final size will change .
When I make amigurumi, I usually use a smaller hook than the yarn's label advises. In this case, I used an cotton yarn and, although the label advised to use a 3,5 mm hook, I used a 2,5 mm hook. With this yarn and hook, my little Fino is about 8 cm. high (without the hat).

The number in brackets at the end of each line means the number of stitches you should have, for example (6).
